Will you be able to supply a sports day boat on a fractional ownership basis? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. What do I get for my investment? In the case of the EBL fractional ownership contract you will receive a fifth share of the boat. The initial cost of the boat has been calculated to include the initial purchase price, commissioning, any additional equipment deemed necessary for use at the home base, safety equipment, all sundry items to make full use of the boat, brokerage fees, delivery charges and syndication fee. The boat will be free of any charges or mortgage and on its sale you will be entitled to 20% of the full sale price less any brokerage fees payable in connection with its sale. 2. How long is my investment for? The contract will run for a minimum of three years following which EBL will in conjunction with its broker look to advise the owners of the best time to sell and replace with a new boat to minimise the depreciation and the maintenance costs, full details are included in the contractual information pack. Yes you are free to sell your investment at any time within the contract period, either through EBL or any other appointed broker subject to the purchaser meeting the requirements of EBL. 4. What qualification do I need? The minimum requirement is for ‘RYA Dayskipper’ for anyone who you require to be registered to skipper the boat. If you have this qualification you will be required to have an assessment by one of the EBL appointed Skippers. If you do not have this qualification we can arrange for you to take this on board your boat. In the event that you do not wish to skipper the boat yourself we are able to provide you with a skipper and crew if requested, in these circumstances no qualifications are required. You can use the boat in any of your registered weeks. Each of the owners will be allocated guaranteed eight weeks of the year and then subject to maintenance weeks you will be allocated one or even two bonus weeks. Yes EBL will operate an exchange weeks system with the cooperation of all owners to accommodate changes in circumstances. EBL will not make any charges for this service. 7. What is included in the service charge? The service charge includes the Mooring fees, boat insurance, any routine engine/ boat maintenance, cleaning and management charge. EBL operate an open account book for the service charge with all costs included are nett payable charges. 8. What happens if there is a problem with the boat? The boat will have warranties and service contracts with local back up and therefore you will have 24 hour emergency call numbers who will rectify the fault as soon as possible. 9. Can anyone use the boat with the owners consent? The owner and the immediate family can use the boat, however only registered users can skipper the boat. In the event that you wish friends or work colleagues to use the boat; this can only be done with our express consent. Under no circumstances can the owner charter the boat to any one. The boat can be used for corporate entertainment in conjunction with the use of an EBL registerd skipper and crew. 10.
